Vietnamese Translator Offline App Reviews

I found this to be the best app to translate words for my secondary Saturday Vietnamese school. I know it such boring at the school but these help me with my homework. I had to look at many apps just to find this one.

First the bad news, 15% of the translations are just wrong. At least another 15% are somewhat inaccurate, archaic, or not in common use. My Vietnamese gf will tell me that "thats not really correct" or "nobody says that word anymore". The good news is 70% of the translations are relatively reliable. Also,the translations often include a good selection of example sentences. Bottom line: its helped me improve my Vietnamese.

I use this app everyday when I write or read anything. The translations are more or less correct. If there is any slang terminology, it will not translate it with correct meaning. I wish that there was something that could be updated. But for now, this works. You have to already have somewhat of an understanding of the language to get the gist of the translation.

I love this app! Its absolutely helpful. Im learning this language as my third language and Im learning faster than a private tutor and best part, its free! So thank you to the developers and everyone who helped put the app together

Most people visit Saigon and the southern and middle of Vietnam. All of my Vietnamese friends quickly identified the northern accent.

This has been a very useful app as I am in a Vietnamese language group. Being able to translate from my native language into Vietnamese and then have the app provide nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs has been most beneficial.

The app is great, but one must have a working knowledge of Vietnamese, and sometimes one never finds what one is looking for!:-). Example: In English, there is no "NG" at the beginning of any word, but the sound does come at the end and within some words, i.e., sing, thing, ding, fang, language, etc. So, I wanted to tell some Vietnamese friends of mine this fact, and wanted to know how to say "word ending" in their language. Never found, yet, but Ill keep looking!!

Described as off-line tool. Did not find it to be. I used google translate because I could find no way to make this app helpful.
